Ruth Makandiwa
Ruth Makandiwa is one unique inspirational Woman of God and wife to the President and Founder of the United Family International Church – Emmanuel Makandiwa.She is a strong pillar, a visionary and a wonderful counsellor and planner who complements the efforts of her husband in serving God with all diligence. Ruth Makandiwa’s heart for women is made evident in her efforts to embrace and encourage women from all backgrounds. She leads the activities of the Women’s Ministry, ‘Victorious Ladies’ whilst mentoring and equipping women spiritually as well as empowering them to rise as knowledgeable, influential and significant economic giants.
Together with her husband, they are the Co-Founders of the wide-spread Television channel Christtv.co. In addition to being the co-authors of the Ministry’s Daily Devotional, ‘Life Lighter’. Ruth Makandiwa is a dedicated teacher of the Word of God who also functions in the prophetic office under the sound mentorship of her husband. As a woman of unmatched strength with abounding love and compassion for God’s people; she reaches out to the lost and restores hope to the less privileged and broken-hearted people. She is also the patron and founder of UFIC’s Charity Arm – Agape Family Care.

Driven by a strong altruistic concern for the welfare of the needy and the less privileged, her mandate through her work with Agape Family Care is to enact the renaissance of hope and positively impact the lives through love.

Sharing spirit-filled truths and bible-based principles fully soaked in Godly wisdom, Ruth Makandiwa translates the Mind, the Heart and the Will of God the into teachings, practical lessons and exchange programs that address the challenges and the everyday-life experiences of a 21st Century woman; encompassing ladies and young women from all walks of Life; ultimately bringing to life the hidden God-given potential in them.

Ruth Makandiwa’s ministry overflows from the pulpit to altruistic works. Over the years, Ruth has made it her culture to share the Love of God with the less privileged, orphans, the broken-hearted and the forgotten through food donations, free healthcare programs and school bursaries all over Zimbabwe. She also facilitates for counselling and interactive programs for women in correctional facilities and support for children that live with their mothers in correctional facilities.
